Made by two families.
The Hut was created by Sang’s Balinese farming family and Euki’s multicultural family, in partnership with euki nusantara.

Sang, your host
Sang grew up in a coffee-farming family in Mengani. He spent years working on international cruise ships and came home with good English, a wider view of the world, and a wish to put both to use where he is from. He works with his father on specialty processing and helps younger people in the village build skills of their own.

Euki Onishi
Euki founded euki nusantara and leads it as a Q Arabica Grader and social entrepreneur. The work runs from quality control and specialty guidance through branding and storytelling to the routes that carry Mengani coffee to buyers abroad, Japan among them.

Sola
Sola is a food creator with Japanese and Australian heritage. He curates the produce and the tastings, and translates Balinese food tradition for the guests who share the table.

euki nusantara
The social enterprise behind The Hut. It supports Sang and the farmers around him with quality control, specialty guidance, branding and market access, so that a stay here feeds back into the coffee the village grows.
