What to expect
This is not a five-star resort. There is no concierge, no room service and no itinerary to keep to. You stay on the farm two families work, and share their days.

The Hut is in Mengani, Kintamani, in the highlands of Bali, roughly two hours from the airport and the south-coast areas. Once you’ve booked, the family shares directions and can help arrange a driver.
Kintamani is cool, especially in the evenings, so bring a warm layer. Comfortable shoes for farm walks and the river trek, and a refillable water bottle.
There is mobile signal and basic connectivity, but this is rural Bali, and part of the point is to slow down. Expect to be a little more offline than in town.
Yes. Meals are home-cooked and largely plant-forward with local produce. Let the family know about allergies or dietary needs when you inquire and they’ll do their best.
